Due to a changes in the Friday schedule at Chess Mates, NJ Transit train schedules and other factors, I have re-scheduled the remaining matches in Rahway as follows:

• April 2nd - DOCA vs. Newark-McDonald's 7:45 p.m.
• April 2nd - Hamilton vs. Chess Mates 7:45 p.m.
• April 16th - Kenilworth vs. Newark McDonald's 7:45 p.m.
• April 30th - Rutgers vs. Newark-McDonald's 7:45 p.m.
• May 28th - West Orange vs. Chess Mates 7:45 p.m.

Recent Results

On Friday, February 7th, Chess Mates defeated Summit 3-1 and on Tuesday, February 11th, the DOCA Knights defeated Rutgers University 3.5-0.5.

The postponed Chess Mates-Summit match will be played tonight in Rahway.

Kenilworth vs. Newark-McDonald's Postponed

Tonight's scheduled Kenilworth-Newark-McDonald's match has been postponed.

Tuesday & Wednesday Matches Postponed

The Chess Mates-Summit, West Orange-Lehigh Valley and Newark McD-Hamilton matches scheduled for tomorrow and Wednesday nights have been postponed, due to weather concerns.

As with the early January storm, I think we should error on the side of caution, rather than risk the icy weather arriving ahead of schedule.

As we head into February, Lehigh Valley and Kenilworth lead with 2.5 points. Hamilton and Summit are a half-point back.
